Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit (as on 01.12.2025)
- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 28 years (born not earlier than 02.12.1997 and not later than 01.12.2025, both days inclusive).
- Relaxations: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC (NCL) – 3 years; PwBD – 10 years; as per Govt. rules.
Educational Qualification
- Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by Central Government.
- Candidate must have passed graduation between 01.04.2021 and 01.12.2025.
- Proficiency in the local language of the applied state (reading, writing, speaking and understanding).
Stipend & Training
- Monthly stipend: ₹13,000/- for one year of apprenticeship.
- No other allowances, perks or benefits are payable.
- Engagement is purely as Apprentice (Trainee) and does not confer any right to regular employment in the bank.
Application Fee
- PwBD candidates: ₹400/- + GST
- SC / ST / All Women candidates: ₹600/- + GST
- All Other Candidates: ₹800/- + GST
Selection Process
- Online Written Test covering Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language and General Awareness (exact pattern as per BOI notification).
- Test of Local Language for the state applied; candidates failing this test will not be engaged as apprentices.
- Final selection will be based on performance in the online examination, qualification in local language test, document verification and medical fitness.

- Go to the “Careers” section and click on the link for Engagement of Apprentices – Project 2025‑26/02.
- Download and read the detailed advertisement carefully to check eligibility, vacancy of your state and important instructions.
- Click on Apply Online, complete registration and login.
- Fill in your personal, educational and communication details correctly.
- Select the State and Zone for which you want to apply (only one state and one zone allowed).
- Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature and other documents in the prescribed format and size.
- Pay the applicable application fee using Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI.
- Verify all details and submit the online form.
- Take a printout or save a PDF copy of the submitted application and fee receipt for future reference.
