Eligibility Criteria for Territorial Army Recruitment 2025

The recruitment has several categories and qualification requirements:

Soldier (General Duty): Candidates must have passed Class 10th/Matric with at least 45% marks in aggregate and a minimum of 33% in each subject. For boards following a grading system, a minimum of D Grade (33-40) in individual subjects and an overall aggregate of C2 grade or equivalent is mandatory.
Soldier (Clerk): Candidates must have cleared 10+2/Intermediate in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks and at least 50% in each subject. Additionally, securing at least 50% in English and Maths/Accounts/Bookkeeping in Class 12th is required.
Soldier Tradesmen (All Trades except House Keeper & Mess Cook): Passing Class 10th is mandatory with a minimum of 33% marks required in each subject.
Soldier Tradesmen (House Keeper & Mess Cook): Candidates must have passed Class 8th with no minimum aggregate percentage but require at least 33% in each subject.
